DAY 01: SAIGON – CAI BE – BIKING – COOKING CLASS – CAN THO
8AM: Tour guide and private car of Indochina Travel Hub will pick you up right at your place. Then you depart to Cai Be of Tien Giang province.
10AM: Then boarding a motorboat and cruising through beautiful rivers and canals where coconut trees line perfectly along both sides. Reaching a bee-keeping farm where you can hear Vietnamese traditional music (Đờn Ca Tài Tử - A traditional folk music from Southern Vietnam regconized by UNESCO in 2013 as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity) and try seasonal tropical fruit as well as honey tea. After that you slowly heading to a local workshop where coconut candies are made and have a chance to learn the coconut candies making process.
Then, you take a bike and ride through the small village roads to see the most real local life as you ride through the tranquil villages with lush tropical fruit gardens, diverse vegetable gardens, local houses,…
12PM: Join cooking class to know how to cook some basic traditional dishes such as spring roll, Banh Xeo, …Have lunch at local restaurant with many traditional dishes together with dishes you have just cooked. Have a short break before continuing exploring.
1:30PM: Take a ride on a hand-rowing boat and slowly cruise through a small creek with beautiful overhanging coconut trees.
Around 4PM, leave Cai Be, depart for Can Tho. Check in the 4 star hotel.
7PM: Have dinner on cruise. You will not only enjoy delicious meal but also immerse in the Can Tho night life vibes with music, lights and peace.
Stay overnight in Can Tho.
DAY 02: CAN THO - CAI RANG FLOATING MARKET– SAIGON
6AM: Get up early in the morning and then start to explore Cai Rang Floating Market – One of the biggest and bussiest floating market in the Mekong Delta’s region.
In the very early morning, the river has become a busy commercial site where hundreds of boats packed with fruits, vegetables, plants and foods...line along the river and are ready for trading. Sellers will hang samples of what they are selling on the top of a long pole on their boats so that buyers can see from a far distance what sellers are selling.
After the Cai Rang market, you stop at a local workshop to see how local people make Hủ Tíu (a kind of Noodles). You stop here for about 30 minutes before turning back to your hotel for breakfast and check out.
10AM: Leave Can Tho. Heading back to Ho Chi Minh.
12PM: Have lunch at Mekong Rest Stop.
4PM: Reach Ho Chi Minh. Tour ends. Thank you and see you in the next trip!
